For both pests treatment Cypermethrin was the most efficient
The efficacy of three botanical insecticides and one synthetic pyrotheoid in controlling two major pests: leaf beetles (Aphthona spp.) and green caterpillar leaf miner(Stomphastis thraustica) were tested. A completely randomized block design (DBCC) with four replications and four treatments plus control were used:
The results suggest that the tested botanical pesticides
may contribute to reduce the density of the beetle but that they are not effective for
control of leaf miners. |
